Magen’s Bay Beach on the North side of St. Thomas has been ranked top 10 beaches in the world for many years. This is likely due to the coastline of almost a mile of white-sand beach and clear blue water with mountains on both sides providing a breath-taking contrast of nature. Villa Elegance sits directly above the beautiful waters of Magen’s Bay and the view from every room is of the beach and surrounding Atlantic Ocean.
Just a short 6-minute drive downhill from the Villa you arrive to this gem. There is local coconut man who sells freshly picked coconuts at the entrance to the beach.
Magen’s Bay also has a concession that prepares breakfast and lunch from 9-3pm. Be sure to grab a local Caribbean fruit punch or tamarin juice with your meal. There is also a full-service Bar for the adult beverage along with waitresses that deliver your drinks directly to you on the sand—insuring you don’t miss a moment of this vacation experience. There are also chairs, kayaks and paddleboard rentals available. When leaving the beach on your left a few min away is Udder Delight ice-cream stand where you can have a scoop or a virgin or spiked (with liquor) milkshake from an extensive menu of various creative options…you won’t regret this stop.
Coki Point Beach – Adjacent to Coral World Ocean Park is lively and a favorite of locals. Coki Point Beach on the east end of St Thomas has local food and retail vendors that allow for a variety of sampling of island flavors. There is usually DJ music and occasionally a live band on the weekends at the bar which increases the fun for the young and young at heart. Due to its proximity to Coral World Ocean Park this beach is good for snorkeling and observing tropical fish and various Marine Life
Lindquist Beach – further east on St Thomas within Smith Bay Park lies Lindquist beach. Once a private beach is now open to visitors. Turquoise waters and powered sand make this less populated beach a gem on St Thomas. If you are looking to get away from the bigger crowds and are not needing many amenities or you are in search for a tranquil beach day, Lindquist is a good choice.
